Beach DIYs part 1

There's always just something wonderful about summer, beach... And if you are wanting to change a few things in your house here's some DIYs to help you out.

Shell candles
 
OMG! These are litteraly the so cute and romantic.

What will you need:

• Shells ( you can buy these at a craft store or get them at the beach). 
• Wicks
• Wax
• Bowl or cup to melt the wax
• Fragrance
• Larger bowl for water to create double boiler effect
• Spoon for stirring and pouring 

Start by washing and drying the shells.
To melt the wax you should follow the directions for whatever wax your using. For this I used soy wax. Fill the smaller cup with the wax and the bowl with water and microwave it for 1 minute until the wax is melted liquid.
Set your wicks in the shells wherever you want them, preferably in the deepest part of the shell for maximum burning time. Don't trim the wicks yet.
Add some drops of whatever fragrance you chose and carefully pour the wax onto the shells.
Once the wax has solified trim the wicks and enjoy!!!!!!!!!
